We always welcome submissions, although they really should be informative, but not too serious. We enjoy the competitive aspect of the game, but this site is about that dark Gorebelly of the game where fun is had, and Boris Mill decks are plentiful.

Well boys and girls, as I’m writing this it’s a mere 6 weeks until the 2009 WoW:TCG World Championships will be taking place. That would normally seem like a long time to wait, but the competitors who are going to be traveling down to the (hopefully) sunny Austin, Texas have a lot of work ahead of them and these 6 weeks are going to fly by.

To say that Matt Spreadbury is a well known WoW TCG player would be an understatement. This Elite Minion of 2008 has had many Top 8 finishes in Darkmoon Faires as well as NACC’s. His consistent finishes made him a popular pick in the Fantasy League with 22 people choosing him. He often plays decks that break away from the current meta-game and ends up changing that meta-game in the process.
This year at the NACC his team piloted an interesting and perhaps unexpected deck through the nine rounds of swiss play, ultimately landing two copies of Martiana the Mindwrench in the top 8. I won’t go into details about the deck as UDE’s coverage of all of the NACC was phenomenal. I do have for you two match reports that were not covered and I hope that you enjoy them.
